WELCOME TO C.W. POST

New Green Curriculum for Honors Students

Congratulations! You're On Your Way!

You have been accepted to the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University and you’re about to embark on an extraordinary adventure.

With more opportunities than ever, you’ve chosen the perfect time to be a C.W. Post student – but before you take the first giant step, there are a few things that will make your journey even more successful. Please take a moment to complete the following forms:

Admitted Student Response Form

Application for On-Campus Housing

Report of Medical History

Report of Health Evaluation

Meningococcal Meningitis Vaccination Response Form

Health Insurance Requirement
The University requires all resident students, student athletes and international students to maintain valid health insurance. These students will be automatically billed for the University-sponsored health insurance plan on their Bursar account. Students who have their own health insurance may waive this charge. This is a time-sensitive responsibility. Students must complete the waiver on or before the semester deadline date to avoid being billed. To waive the charge, click here or call (800) 322-9901 and follow the instructions. Print and retain a receipt evidencing proof of compliance with the waiver provisions.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
If you have not submitted your FAFSA form, now is the time. It may seem like a lot of paperwork, but it is the best way to get grants, scholarships and other financial aid to pay for your education. If you need help along the way, contact the C.W. Post Office of Financial Assistance at (516) 299-2338 or click here.

The FAFSA form is available here.

NOTE: Even if a deadline has passed, contact Financial Assistance for any available campus scholarships.

Register for Classes
The academic support team is available to help you navigate every aspect of registration. Incoming freshmen should contact the Academic Counseling Center (located in Kumble Hall) at (516) 299-2746 to make an appointment with an academic counselor, who will help steer you from your first semester at C.W. Post right through to graduation. If you’re a transfer student, call the Transfer Center at (516) 299-3222 to make an appointment with an academic advisor and to apply transfer credits to your major.

NOTE: The Admitted Student Response Form and non-refundable $200 tuition deposit is required to reserve your place at C.W. Post and must be submitted prior to registration. Students who seek a waiver of the deposit because of severe financial hardship must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and file a request with the C.W. Post Financial Assistance Office.
