Event Descriptions
Post Preview Days
Post Preview Day is a program for
prospective freshman and transfer students. A brief presentation
provides a general overview about the C.W. Post Campus as well as
Admissions, Financial Aid, scholarships, and campus services. This
is followed by an opportunity to talk with faculty and administrators
from Enrollment Services and Student Affairs. The program concludes
with a guided campus tour.
Information Session
An Information Session is for prospective
freshman and transfer students. The program features a general overview
about the C.W. Post Campus as well as admissions, financial aid
and scholarships, career services, housing, student life and
campus services. You will also have the opportunity to take a guided
campus tour.
Enrollment Services Days
Enrollment Services Days are a one-stop application
and enrollment opportunity for new freshman, transfer and graduate
students. Those who qualify can apply to C.W. Post, be accepted
and register for classes. Receive admissions, financial
aid, transfer credit evaluation and academic counseling all in one
visit.
Admitted Student Day
Freshman and transfer students who have been admitted
to the C.W. Post Campus are invited to visit the campus with their
parents and families. This half-day program provides an opportunity
to meet with deans and faculty, attend informational workshops in
financial aid and scholarships, career planning, athletics, housing,
Honors education, and many other areas. You can also register for
classes and meet individually with financial aid counselors. This
event features a Student Life Fair showcasing our clubs and organizations
and you can sign up for our exciting New Student Orientation.
Undergraduate/Graduate Fall Open House
The Fall Open House held each November opens
the campus to High School seniors, transfer students and prospective
graduate students. This is a great opportunity to receive a wide-range
of information about our bachelors and masters degree
programs, admissions, financial aid and scholarships, academic counseling
services, career planning/cooperative education, student life,
athletics, on-campus housing and student support services. Guided
walking tours of our beautiful campus are featured.
Spring Open House
The Spring Open House is designed for high
school juniors and sophomores and their families as they begin their college selection
process. High school seniors and transfer students are welcome to
attend as well. Learn about admissions, bachelor degree programs,
scholarships and financial aid, on-campus housing, and athletics.

Freshman Registration Night
Freshman Registration Night allows students who have been accepted to the C.W. Post Campus to bring in their deposit and register for classes. Students may meet with a financial aid and academic counselor (appointments should be made prior to visit).
Transfer Visit Night
Transfer Visit Night provides transfer students
with a general overview about the C.W. Post Campus as well as admissions,
academic programs, transfer credit policies, transfer scholarships,
financial aid and career services. Talk with faculty members about
degree programs and meet with academic counselors to learn how many
of your credits will transfer. You can apply, be accepted and register
for classes on the spot, if you qualify!
Transfer Open House
Transfer Open House introduces prospective transfer
students to our campus and provides information about academic programs,
transfer credit policies, transfer scholarships, financial aid
and career services. You can meet with academic counselors to learn
how many of your credits will transfer. You can apply, be accepted

Transfer Friday/Transfer Day
Transfer Friday/Transfer Day provides walk - in services to prospective and admitted transfer students. Students can bring their transcripts and receive a credit evaluation, submit their application, and receive an admissions decision. Students also have the opportunity to meet with financial aid and academic counselors. Admitted students may register for classes at this time
Transfer Registration Night
Transfer Registration Night allows transfer students who have been accepted to the C.W. Post Campus to bring their deposit and register for classes. Students may meet with a financial aid and academic counselor.
Graduate Open House
Graduate faculty, admissions and financial aid staff
meet with prospective graduate students to provide information about
degree programs, admissions criteria and student services.
Accounting Open House
This event showcases the outstanding accounting and
taxation degree programs offered through C.W. Posts School
of Professional Accountancy. Prospective freshman, transfer
and graduate students are welcome to meet with accounting faculty
and representatives from admissions, financial assistance, career
services and academic counseling.
