TRANSFER STUDENT CENTER/CREDIT EVALUATIONS
New and prospective transfer students can take advantage of the
services provided by the C.W. Post Transfer Center. The Transfer
Center is located in Kumble Hall on the Second Floor. You can contact
the department by calling 516-299-3222 or by Fax at 516-299-4236.
- Transfer Credit Evaluations
The Transfer Center will respond quickly – within 24 to 48 hours – to requests regarding the number of credits students may transfer from their previous school(s).
 C.W. Post accepts a maximum of 72 credits from two-year colleges and 96 credits from four-year colleges and universities. The minimum grade required for a course to transfer is C-. Students transferring directly to C.W. Post upon completion of an associate’s degree may transfer courses in which they received D grades, provided those courses were required for the degree.

- Financial Assistance
The Transfer Center also works closely with The Office of Financial Assistance to make sure transfer students receive all the information and guidance they need to receive optimum financial assistance. Check here for more information about the financial aid process
