Long Island University will temporarily clear the bills of students who present written authorization from a third party/sponsoring company (i.e. Board of Education, Verizon, JP Morgan Chase) for payment of tuition and/or fees on their organization or corporate letterhead. All letters are subject to review by the Office of the Bursar's Office and must include the following information:

• Student's name
  
• Student ID (social security number)
  
• Semester or academic year covered
  
• Number of points or coursework covered
  
• Dollar or percentage limit (tuition and/or fees) if applicable
  
• Sponsoring company's name, billing address, contact person and telephone number.

Completed letters as well as the Tuition Reimbursement Deferred Payment Plan can be taken in person to the Bursar's Office or faxed to 516-299-2721 along with credit card authorization form for the remaining balance.
