College of Information and Computer Science houses two divisions:
the Palmer School of Library and Information Science and the Department
of Computer Science/Management Engineering. The College offers undergraduate

science, information transfer, information systems, and management

The Palmer School's interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Information
Studies is the only one of its kind in the New York metropolitan

The Master of Science Degree in Library and Information Science
is accredited by the American Library Association, a distinction
shared by only 58 library schools in North America.
The Certificate in Archives and Records Management was ranked
eighth in the country by U.S. News & World Report.

The Department of Computer
Science/Management Engineering offers cutting-edge computer technology
programs and awards Long Island's only Master's Degree in Information
Systems. The Management Engineering component offers an intensive
program in technical project management.

in the burgeoning fields of information and computer science, knowledge

EXCEPTIONAL FACILITIES
The Palmer School courses leading to the master's degree are offered
at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville
and at New York University's Bobst Library in Manhattan, with selected
courses also being offered at Pace University in Pleasantville,
N.Y. The Palmer School Doctoral and Certificate programs as well
as computer science, information systems and management engineering
courses are offered at the C.W. Post Campus. Each location provides
state-of-the-art facilities and the most up-to-date hardware and
software to ensure you are learning by using the very latest technology
in the industry.
