College of Liberal Arts & Sciences is the oldest and most diverse
academic unit of the C.W. Post campus. Our 13 departments offer
a broad range of master's, accelerated bachelor's/masters and doctoral
programs including:

Our faculty members number well over 100 full-time professors as
well as adjunct faculty who are experts in their fields. These highly
accomplished scientists, mathematicians, social scientists, and
humanists are dedicated to excellence in teaching. Class sizes are
small, allowing for considerable interaction between you and your
professors, and in most programs faculty mentors will guide you
in designing and writing an original thesis.

Our graduate programs are tailored to fit your personal and professional
needs. Faculty advisors and career counselors are available to help
you define your goals and reach them. Flexible course schedules
are geared for both the full-time graduate student as well as the
part-time student who is challenged with work and family obligations
