Accelerated
B.S./M.S. - Accountancy
The Accelerated B.S./M.S. in Accountancy offers you the opportunity
to complete both the undergraduate and graduate accounting degrees
in just 5 years of full-time study. You enter as a freshman in the
undergraduate program. To complete both degrees in the 5 year period
you choose the accelerated track in your senior year and complete
6 credits of graduate level coursework, which is then applied to
your graduate degree, reducing the remaining number of credits required
to 24. This program meets the 150-hour requirements of the New York
State Education Department and the American Institute of Certified
Public Accountants. As with the M.S. in Accountancy, this program
qualifies toward a one-year reduction of the work experience requirement
for CPA licensure.
Taxation

Revenue Service practice and procedures, preparing you for a wide
range of career options in both the private and public sectors.
Whether you are a recent graduate thinking about pursuing a career
in this field, or a seasoned professional interested in career advancement
or change, this degree provides the comprehensive curriculum you
will need to succeed as a tax professional.
The program consists
of a minimum of 30 credits of coursework; 18 credits in required
core courses and 12 credits in specialized elective courses.
A four-year baccalaureate
degree from an accredited institution, including six credits of
accounting and 3 credits each of taxation and business law, is generally
