Palmer School of Library & Information Science
The Palmer School offers a full range of graduate courses through its Master of Science in Library and Information Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Information Studies. The M.S. program is accredited by the American Library Association. In addition, we offer advanced certificate programs at the graduate level in Archives and Records Management and Public Library Administration. The accredited M.S. in Library and Information Science program is also offered in Manhattan at New York University's Bobst Library on Washington Square. Selected master's level courses are offered in Westchester County at State University of New York (SUNY) in Purchase and at the Brentwood Campus of Long Island University.
The Doctor of Philosophy program in Information Studies has a strong interdisciplinary focus, which prepares individuals to conduct research and teach in new and existing fields and integrate information studies into and with related disciplines.
