Brentwood Program
The Palmer School has offered masters courses in Library
and Information Science at the Brentwood
Campus of Long Island University since 2002. Classes are offered
at convenient evening and weekend hours, mindful of the working
adult. Students are only required to take one class at the C.W.
Post Campus in Brookville. |

Manhattan Program
Master’s courses in Library and Information Science have
been offered in Manhattan since 1986. Since the Fall of 1993, the
Palmer School has based its operations in Manhattan in the New York
University Bobst Library (70 Washington Square South) where the
Palmer School has offices and classrooms. Students can complete
the full M.S. in Library and Information Science degree at this
site and are given and borrowing privileges to the Bobst Library.

Westchester Program
The Palmer School offers selected masters courses toward
the M.S. degree and the advanced certificate program in Archives
and Records Management at Long Island Universitys Westchester
Graduate Campus in Purchase, (Westchester County), N.Y. The
Westchester Graduate Campus is served by bus from the White Plains
Metro North Station and is easily accessible by car from several
major highways. M.S. students in the Westchester program must take
3 credits at the C.W. Post Campus or in Manhattan. |

Post Program (Brookville, N.Y.)
The full Master of Science degree program in Library and Information
Science is offered at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University
in Brookville, N.Y. Classes are held in "smart" technology
classrooms in the B. Davis Schwartz Memorial Library. Students have
access to extensive online research databases, a 2.8 million volume
library and several computer centers. |
