Special Services generally fall into one of three categories:
- Labor Intensive
- Unfunded
- Technical Review Required
Labor-intensive jobs typically require a good deal of time to complete.
A technical review may be needed to determine the best way to proceed
with the project. Because these jobs are not part of the regular
maintenance and repair schedule, special funds need to be allocated.
More intense projects require a budget-approval process, which must
commence at least six to nine months before the annual budget is
finalized in October.
