As you make your plans for postsecondary education during the 2009-10
academic year, many students and their families find it helpful
to obtain an estimate of the types of financial assistance and payment
options the student may qualify for at a particular institution.
At C.W. Post, we would like to provide you with as much information as we can for this decision-making process. Therefore, we encourage you to take the time to complete our Preliminary Financial Aid Application.
It is advisable that you complete our application no later
than January 15, 2009. You will need to use both the student's and
parents' most recent federal tax returns when completing the application.
In addition, asset information must be reported.
Upon receipt of this application, a Financial Assistance Counselor
will review the information provided and send you an Estimated Financial
Assistance Package. Please note that you will still need to be accepted
for admission and make formal applications for financial assistance
through the 2009-10 Free Application for Federal Student
Aid (FAFSA) in order for our office to make an official
award notification.
We welcome the opportunity to discuss your financing plans, and encourage you to visit the campus to speak with a financial assistance counselor. For an appointment call (516) 299-2338.
