The Psychology building (shown here) was originally a goat shed when the campus was the private estate of Marjorie Merriweather Post. Students took classes in this building until it was moved to the south end of campus to form what is now a barn for the North Shore Equestrian Center’s horse stables. Prior to it becoming a college campus, the property was once a functioning farm with Guernsey cows, registered bulls, racing horses, chickens, ducks and goats. After the Psychology building was moved, Life Science was built in 1967 on the same site.
