educational hardware and software. The computer laboratory
houses two IBM personal computers and a laser disc player
with applications dedicated to instruction in the areas of
radiographic anatomy, positioning and technique, as well as
simulated registry programs.
The program features a state-of-the-art computer workstation
that allows students to perform multi-planar and 3-D reconstructions
of Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging examinations,
allowing the student to become familiar with the data manipulation
techniques of digital filmless radiography.
In addition to campus facilities, the program often utilizes
conference rooms at the clinical affiliates for educational
offerings. Seminars, film critique sessions and guest lecturer
presentations are often scheduled for students in the program.
