Homecoming 2008 is a wonderful opportunity to visit Post with your relatives and friends. Enjoy our beautiful campus and partake in the festivities organized just for you! Reminisce with old friends and meet new ones! Homecoming 2008 is about you and your connection with C.W. Post – come and experience it all over again!

All are welcome to tailgate and barbecue in the parking lots. A cash bar serving beer will be available for people ages 21 and over and will be the only location where drinking alcohol is permitted.

In his keynote address, Paul uses personal experiences to emphasize the importance of making positive decisions while operating motor vehicles and being responsible and safe in college.

Tuesday October 14
Coffee and Comedy — Comedian Jonny Walker
8 p.m. — Hillwood Pioneer Room
Join ACP for coffee and some laughs. Jonny is a FREE comedian who pleases the crowd through his rhythmic comedy routine.

Wednesday October 15
Lecture - Dark Banquet: Blood and the Curious Lives of Blood-Feeding Creatures
Presenter: Bill Schutt, vertebrate zoologist, author, and associate professor of biology

This lecture explores the mysterious world of the sanguivores – vampire bats, leeches and bed bugs! – and is a study of their habits, evolution and their surprising benefits to the medical world.

Lecture – The Secret of Egypt’s Great Pyramid
Presenter: Bob Brier, world-renowned mummy detective, C.W. Post senior research fellow, and host of the National Geographic Channel TV Special “Unlocking the Great Pyramid.”
8 p.m. – B. Davis Schwartz Memorial Library

This lecture brings you deep inside the Great Pyramid of Giza to answer one of the greatest archaeological mysteries of all times – how the pyramid was built! Egyptologist Bob Brier will also show the first public photographs of a secret room he discovered on the Pyramid’s north-east corner.
