Honors Conference Highlights

On Friday, March 7 at 11:45 a.m., C.W. Post Honors Conference hosted a series of sessions exploring critical issues of the November elections, including the war in Iraq, education, health care, poverty, global warming and immigration.

 
Opening symposium addressed the upcoming presidential elections and the issues that surround it.   Standing left to right: Director of Religious Life Father Ted Brown and Daniel Resch, chemistry major, lecture on the role of religion in politics.
 
 
“Commitment to a Lifetime of Service” presented by Dr. Pamela Lennox, Associate Provost.   C.W. Post Art Professor Barbara Applegate presents, “Commitment to Chinese Art.”
 
English Professor Dr. John Lutz discusses
commitment and political resistance in the African novel.
