subscription basis or at a federal documents depository such as C. W. Post. Ask a librarian
to get into the database.

- GPO Access
- provides computerized access to many important law related
federal documents, some of which are discussed below. The keyword access
that this site provides to these documents is usually makes them much easier
to use than the equivalent paper indexes.
- The
Code of Federal Regulations
- contains all federal regulations currently
in force in and in codified form i.e. arranged by agency and function.
- Federal Register (1994-present)
- is the newspaper of the executive
arm of the government. It contains proposed and final regulations, presidential
proclamations, announcements of all sorts including those about grants
and much more. The detailed keyword access provided by the web is usually
much easier to use than the paper index. Other law related documents provided
by GPO Access include congressional bills, Supreme Court decisions, public
laws, and the United States Code the last being a compilation of all federal
laws currently in force arranged by subject.
