  This exhibit celebrates National Women's History Month with profiles of women honored by the National Women's History Project through the theme, Women's Art: Women's Vision. Also featured are the Library of Congree exhibit, HerStory & History, vintage movie posters, statistics, historical facts, and more.

  Manga: Drawings by Christina Tumminello
  Accompanied by sixteen original drawings by Christina Tumminello, this exhibit looks at the history and characteristics of Japanese comics along with explorations of the various genres, such as shojo (girls' comics), and manga's adoption by the west. Also on display are examples of manga books and magazines, as well as Japanese fans and other artifacts.

  The Special Collections Department invites you to visit our newly completed exhibition of scanned images of some of the delightful writings and illustrations created Berta and Elmer Hader. These 1st edition works are housed within the American Juvenile Collection. The Haders were a married couple who authored and illustrated many young people's books in the 30's, 40's and 50's. The exhibition is located on the Second Floor in the hallway of the East Wing right in front of the Special Collections Department. Presented in collaboration with the Instructional Media Center.
