Coopertative
Education, or Co-op,
is a program for undergraduate students in all majors which places
students in part-time positions related to their major and career
interests. Work schedules are arranged around the student's schedule
and positions can be paid or unpaid, depending on the field and
employer.
Why
should students participate in co-op?
 |
Co-op
helps students develop career directions and skills required
by employers. |
 |
Co-op
experience stands out on a resume and gives graduating seniors
a tremendous advantage when looking for full-time work. |
 |
Co-op
can help provide funds for college tuition. |
 |
Students
grow emotionally and intellectually through the process of goal-setting
and evaluation PEP requires with each co-op work experience.
