The New York Women in Communications Foundation (NYWICI)

NYWICI announces that college scholarships totaling $60,000 will be awarded to qualified applicants on the basis of academic excellence, need and involvement in the field of communications. Each designated recipient will receive a stipend of up to $10,000. Residents of the Tri-state Pennsylvania who are focusing on communication studies ware eligible to submit applications for scholarships for the 2005-2006 academic year.

Eligibility: High School seniors attending a New York state high school (expected graduation date of 2005); Undergraduate students and graduate students with permanent residents in NY NJ CT or PA.

Qualifications: Students must have a GPA of 3.2. For high school students GPA must be the high school equivalent of 3.2; must be majoring in a communications-related field such as advertising, broadcasting, communications, journalism, marketing new media or public relations.

Parent Involvement Coordinator - Head Start
