VOIP Network Engineer (University Center)
Qualifications: Good knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals; total management and implementation of Cisco AVVID system/voice mail including hardware and software; cisco AVVID analysis and design; experience in Cisco IP telephone system administration, configuration and implementation; install, configure and manage Cisco Call Manager and Unity configurations; knowledge in developing and/or implementing disaster recovery procedures; configure and maintain SRST, QOS and voice gateways; support overall network engineering framework including routers/switches and wireless infrastructure; working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and server infrastructure; experience configuring Cisco hardware 17XX, 37XX, 450X, 650X, MCS7800 servers, 79XX series IP phones all associated voice gateway levels, WS-X6608, VG248 and associated modules such as FXO, and FXS; detailed understanding of telecommunication practices as applicable to both traditional and VOIP configurations; 2-3 years technical experience with all aspects of Cisco AVVID with voice protocols configurations, call Manager/Unity and AVVID applications, specifically CCC and IPCC.
