The Wellstone Fellowship for Social Justice aims to advance social justice through health care advocacy by focusing on the unique challenges facing communities of color. Through this fellowship, established to honor the memory of the late Senator Paul D. Wellstone, Families USA hopes to expand the pool of talented social justice advocates from underrepresented racial and ethnic minority groups. The ideal candidate must demonstrate an interest in health care policy and racial/ethnic health disparities. This position works with the Custom Reach group within the Technology Business Unit and supports customer research senior staff to execute 100% Internet custom surveys on behalf of the Clients and well qualified non- clients. This position is responsible for project coordination, beginning with initial project paperwork and scheduling, through questionnaire writing, internal coordination with support departments, tabulation banner and stub design. This position does analysis and write-ups of very brief executive summary of study results under the supervision of a senior customer researcher. Vice President for Student Affairs at Southern Methodist University (SMU)

Position: The Vice President for Student Affairs is the chief student life-development officer for the University and reports directly to the President. Through supervision of seven direct reports, the Vice President oversees a wide range of administrative functions supporting the Universities academic and student life missions.

Responsibilities: Administering, coordinating, and supervising campus ministries, residence life and student housing, dean of student life, health services, student recreation and wellness, and career services.

The Vice President works closely with a broad range of consistencies, including the Provost, other vice presidents, deans, trustees, donors and student leaders, and serves as an advocate for individual students and student organizations. A significant responsibility is the continual evaluation of student needs and how to best accommodate those needs through sound educational philosophy and responsible fiscal policy. Qualifications: Leading candidates will exhibit strong communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities, as well as effective writing and listening skills. The Vice President must exhibit the willingness and capability to manage a group of direct reports across financial, technology and plant operations areas. As a member of the Presidents Executive Council, the Vice President must work collaboratively across many University constituencies to advance the welfare and experiences of all SMU students.
