Position Description & Responsibilities: The Sports Information Assistant well be actively involved in all facets of the publicity and promotion of a 15-sport athletic department. Will perform game-day tasks, including but not limited to: recording sports statistics; writing press releases; producing game programs; updating web site content. Prior experience in writing, web design and working sporting events is not necessary, but it strongly desired. Some training will be available. Research Analyst

Position Description:
The Research Analyst works with the Director and Assistant Director and conducts analysis of student, enrollment, and financial data in support of decision making and policy formulation. Administrative Assistant

Position Description: The Administrative Assistant reports to the Director of
International Student Services and Residence Life and performs duties as the Assistant
to the Director. He/she will be responsible for providing support and assistance to all
full-time staff in both departments of International Student Services and Residence Life. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for facilitating the preparation of compliance documents and reports as required by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). He/she is required to attend annual off-campus F-1 Visa Immigration Regulation training sessions. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for undertaking a variety of business tasks, including assisting in the management of the departmental budgets; processing personnel, financial and academic records; supervising all part-time student staff; and assisting with a growing number of departmental functions and events.

Evening Financial Assistance Counselor

Position Description & Responsibilities: Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Student Financial Assistance, the Financial Assistance Counselor will be responsible for the following: Provide evening coverage in the Office of Student Financial Assistance. Review financial aid packages for undergraduate and graduate students utilizing the college’s PeopleSoft Student Information System. Enter and update data in PeopleSoft as needed. Counsel students and prospective students regarding financial aid. Review all documentation submitted by financial aid applicants and their parents if applicable. Advocate on behalf of students who are seeking additional funds. Receive phone calls and follow up on voice mail messages received. Complete the Verification process for students selected. Certify Alternative Loans and contact lenders when needed. Attend staff meetings and assist with new staff training. Partake in Admissions weekend events including Open Houses and Admitted Students days. Distribute tasks/assignments to college work study students. Coordinate the Financial Aid Caller Program to assist new students with follow up information and guidance during the recruitment process. Represent the Office of Student Financial Assistance at Financial Aid Nights at local high schools. Attend conferences and workshops regarding financial aid and/or PeopleSoft Student Information System. Assist in other duties within the Office of Student Financial Assistance as assigned.

Part-Time Secretary, Clerical Level III

Head Athletic Trainer

Position Description & Responsibilities: The C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University is accepting applications for the position of Head Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time, 12 month position including benefits. Responsibilities include supervision and coordination of the University’s sports medicine and athletic training program. Duties may include but are not limited to: injury prevention, evaluation, management and treatment of athletic injuries; education and counseling of student-athletes and athletics related health care administration in consultation with and under the supervision of the Team Physician (s) and other qualified medical personnel; Medical bills and insurance claims submission; Compilation and organization of medical records; Budget maintenance; NCAA and Institutional Health and Safety compliance; Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics and/or Associate Director of Athletics. Position Description & Responsibilities: The School of Visual Arts is seeking a full-time permanent Archives Assistant for The Milton Glaser Design Study Center and Archives and the SVA Archives, which are housed in the Visual Arts Library. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Art, Art History or Humanities; knowledge of

Position Description & Responsibilities: We are seeking an experienced reference librarian with subject expertise in chemistry, mathematics, physics, biology, or engineering.
