Description & Responsibilities:
The Sports Information Assistant well be actively involved in
all facets of the publicity and promotion of a 15-sport athletic
department. Will perform game-day tasks, including but not limited
to: recording sports statistics; writing press releases; producing
game programs; updating web site content. Prior experience in
writing, web design and working sporting events is not necessary,
but it strongly desired. Some training will be available. Working

Evening Financial Assistance

Position Description & Responsibilities: Reporting
to the Senior Associate Director of Student Financial Assistance,
the Financial Assistance Counselor will be responsible for the
following: Provide evening coverage in the Office of Student
Financial Assistance. Review financial aid packages for undergraduate
and graduate students utilizing the college’s PeopleSoft Student
Information System. Enter and update data in PeopleSoft as needed.
Counsel students and prospective students regarding financial
aid. Review all documentation submitted by financial aid applicants
and their parents if applicable. Advocate on behalf of students
who are seeking additional funds. Receive phone calls and follow
up on voice mail messages received. Complete the Verification
process for students selected. Certify Alternative Loans and
contact lenders when needed. Attend staff meetings and assist
with new staff training. Partake in Admissions weekend events
including Open Houses and Admitted Students days. Distribute
tasks/assignments to college work study students. Coordinate
the Financial Aid Caller Program to assist new students with
follow up information and guidance during the recruitment process.
Represent the Office of Student Financial Assistance at Financial
Aid Nights at local high schools. Attend conferences and workshops
regarding financial aid and/or PeopleSoft Student Information
System. Assist in other duties within the Office of Student
Financial Assistance as assigned.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will
have a bachelor’s degree and three years of experience working
in a college or business office, comfortable with working with
computers and information systems, possessing good analytical

Description & Responsibilities:
The C.W. Post
Campus of Long Island University is accepting applications for
the position of Head Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time,
12 month position including benefits. Responsibilities include
supervision and coordination of the University’s sports medicine
and athletic training program. Duties may include but are not
limited to: injury prevention, evaluation, management and treatment
of athletic injuries; education and counseling of student-athletes
and athletics related health care administration in consultation

Assistant for The Milton Glaser Design Study Center and Archives

Position Description: The Town of Ballston
Community Library is seeking to fill the position of Library
Director. The Library is chartered as a Special District and
operates as a department of the Town of Ballston. The Library
serves a
community of approximately 18,000 residences in portions of
the Towns of
Ballston, Charlton, Clifton Park and Glenville. The Library
is governed by a seven-member board of trustees appointed by
the Town of Ballston. The Library has an annual circulation
of 183,000 and a half-million dollar operating budget. The Library
is located in a 6-year old 11,000 square foot building in Southern
Saratoga County. The Director supervises a 9 FTE equivalent
staff, including recruitment, training, and evaluation. In addition,
the Director is responsible for the development and implementation
of library policies and procedures, planning of adult programming,
management of the library collection, website maintenance building
management and grant writing. The candidate should have a commitment
to customer service, strong communication skills, and knowledge
of financial management practices. A broad understanding of
trends in library services including technology is essential.
