| Dear
Parents, Friends and Family,
College
days are filled with learning, fun, challenges and new experiences.
Each day, students can choose from an endless variety of programs,
courses, activities and services that are offered here at Post which
will enrich their learning and life here on campus. Unlike high
school, however, students must choose whether or not to participate
in campus activities and make their own decisions about utilizing
campus services.
Students
and parents alike have many questions (and fears) about choosing
a major, a career and ultimately finding a job after graduation.
The purpose of the PEP Office (Professional Experience and Career
Planning) is to provide guidance, support and opportunities to C.W.
Post students so they can make informed career decisions and gain
work experience while they are here on campus.
We
need parents, friends and family to remind students to use the services
offered through the PEP Office and to help dispel any "misinformation"
they may have about what's available to them. You can get the facts
by calling us and then sharing what you've learned with your student.
The decision to come to PEP is still their's to make, but at least
they will know from you that help - really good help - is here for
them. All they have to do is call or come to our office.
Please feel free to call or email me anytime with your questions,
concerns and comments.
Sincerely,
|
