4th Annual Long Island Labor Conference at C.W. Post

Conference: "Making it Happen," the 4th Annual Labor/Community Conference.

Topics will include: responsibility for serving people in need, the Supreme Court’s decision on back pay for undocumented workers, the nursing shortage and crisis in the delivery of health care, and "Making Shape-Up Sites Work: the Story of Glen Cove and Farmingdale." Speakers from CSEA, Catholic Charities, L.I. Health & Welfare Council, National Association of Puerto Rican-Hispanic Social Workers and more. Location: Great Hall, C.W.
