Have you ever wondered about the impact of real estate values on
the local economy? Would you like to know more about real estate
development, real estate finance or real estate taxes? If you answered
yes to any of these questions, you may want to attend the 2002 Real
Estate Symposium from 8:15 a.m. to Noon on Wednesday, October 30,
2002.
The Symposium, titled "Real Estates Impact on the Long
Island Economy," is presented by the Real Estate Practitioners
Institute of Long Island and the Association for a Better Long Island
(A.B.L.I.).
Speakers will include Congressman Steve Israel, Nassau County Assessor
Charles OShea, Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi, Donald
Eversoll of Klein & Eversoll and Mitchell Rechler of Reckson
Associates Realty Corp. Sessions include "Real Estate Development,"
"Real Estate Finance" and "Real Estate Taxes."
The symposium will be held in Hillwood Commons on the C.W. Post
Campus, 720 Northern Blvd. (Route 25A), Brookville. Fee: $100 in
advance, $150 at the door, full-time students free. Includes continental
breakfast and 3 CEU credits.
