C.W. Post Hosts 2003 Real Estate
Symposium
Where is real estate headed on Long Island? Find out
at the 2003 Real Estate Symposium from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday,
November 12, 2003 at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University,
where a panel of experts will discuss property values, appraisal
basics and the changes in the marketplace.
The symposium, titled "Forecast 2004," is
presented by the Real Estate Practitioners Institute of Long
Island (based at the C.W. Post Campus) and the Association for a
Better Long Island.
Speakers will include Newsday Daily Business Editor
Charles V. Zehren; former Suffolk County Economic Development Commissioner,
Martin R. Cantor, C.P.A.; Gregg Rechler of Reckson Associates Realty
Corp.; Anthony Iaccio, MAI of Goodman-Marks Associates, Inc.; Kevin
S. Law of Nixon Peabody LLP; and Henry C. Schreiber, Jr. of Henron
Development Corp. Sessions include "Property Values in the
Marketplace" and "Real Property Appraisal."
A question and answer period will follow the program.
The symposium will be held in Hillwood Commons on
the C.W. Post Campus, 720 Northern Blvd. (Route 25A), Brookville.
The fee of $100 includes continental breakfast and 3 continuing
education credits.
The Real Estate Practitioners Institute of Long
Island was founded in 1973 to serve the Long Island real estate
community. It provides continuing education programs and host professional
development seminars and networking luncheons. The Real Estate Institute
is part of the C.W. Post Department of Continuing Education &
Professional Studies.
