WCWP WebRadio Broadcasts High School Basketball Games

Are you unable to attend all of your teenager's high school sporting events? Are you working overtime or on the other side of the country? Have no fear, WebRadio WCWP is "hear." WCWP will webcast a series of high school basketball games live on its national internet station. The program will premier at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2003 at Division High School in Levittown, N.Y.

Tune in to www.webradiowcwp.org as the Division Blue Dragons face-off against the Valley Stream North Spartans.

This initiative was based on suggestions from parents of high school athletes who were unable to attend all of their children’s games. WebRadio WCWP – based at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville – allows family members all over the country to follow the games live. WebRadio will record and replay all the action, which will enable the athletes to hear the games themselves. WebRadio WCWP will webcast a series of high school basketball games this season for both the boys and girls teams, as well as other high school sports events in the future.

Listeners can tune in to WebRadio WCWP at www.webradiowcwp.org, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. WCWP features a variety of musical genres, sports, news, local bands, and underground artists. For more information contact WCWP at (516) 299-2683.
