February 4, 2003 — "Stress, Fear and Faith - Growing Spiritually in Uncertain Times," a public talk by Buddhist nun Gen-la Dekyong, will be held on Sunday, March 2 at 7 p.m. in Hillwood Commons on the C.W. This event is sponsored by Dipamkara Meditation Center in Huntington, a rapidly growing congregation of western Buddhists studying the Mahayana teachings of Buddha. The resident teacher at Dipamkara is Gen Kelsang Togden, an ordained Buddhist monk originally from Brazil, who is known for his direct and humorous teaching style.

The lecture is co-sponsored by the C.W. Post Department of Psychology.
