service and computer literacy programs for clients within the Long
Island and New York metropolitan area. He works in close partnership
with businesses to develop and deliver customized training programs
tailored to their unique organizational needs and strategic goals.
This partnership includes the following:
- A General Inquiry Meeting: Johnson meets with the client
to glean in-depth the information necessary for developing a training
curriculum and pedagogical approach that are fully aligned with
the client and that reflect sensitivity to important cultural
idiosyncrasies of the client.
- Curriculum Development and Customization: Based on the
findings of the General Inquiry Meeting and with the clients
input and approval, Johnson develops customized curriculums.
He develops Corporate Training Programs in a number of formats,
including courses, seminars, professional institutes, one- or two-
day workshops, keynote speaker engagements and panel discussions.
In addition to the Corporate Training Program, C.W. Post CEPS offers
day, evening and weekend programs for adults seeking career advancement,
professional training and personal enrichment. Topics of study include
business, computer technology, distance learning, financial services,
health studies, legal studies, real estate and personal enrichment
as well as the well-known Hutton House Lecture series. The recently
created Breakfast Series allows those currently working to earn
a certificate in professional development and to network with other
professionals. CEPS classes and workshops are offered at convenient
times, with many courses available online, and registration conducted
