Hutton House Lectures Celebrates 30th Anniversary
The Hutton House Lectures, a renowned lecture series for adult students at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University, marked its 30th anniversary at a ceremony on October 28, 2005.
More than 100 people, including many long-time students of the program, attended the celebration which featured a lecture by Ralph Buultjens, a senior professor of international affairs at New York University and former professor at Cambridge University in England.
The event also served as a benefit for the Hutton House Lectures Scholarship, which makes available $3,000 annually for adult undergraduate students resuming their college careers after a hiatus for family or personal reasons.
