Casino Night to Raise Funds for Scholarships

July 12, 2005 — Brookville, NY—You’d better know when to hold ’em and know when to fold ’em on Friday, October 7 when the C.W. Post College of Management Alumni Chapter hosts its Casino Night Fundraiser. Starting at 7 p.m., the Caffe on the Green in Bayside will be transformed into an authentic casino offering roulette, poker, blackjack, craps and baccarat.

Proceeds from the event will support scholarships for students in the College of Management Alumni Chapter at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University who are pursuing degrees in accounting, business, criminal justice, healthcare and public administration, and social work.

Gourmet food, premium wine and a top-shelf bar will be available throughout the evening. Tickets are $100 per person, which includes $75 in playing chips. In addition, a one-night stay at the Garden City Hotel, a night in the New York City with theater tickets, and other high-end prizes will be raffled.

The College of Management offers the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in finance, international business, marketing, management and management information systems; the highly acclaimed 36-to-48 credit Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree; an accelerated one-year International M.B.A., and a dual J.D./M.B.A. with Touro Law Center. The College of Management is also home to the School of Professional Accountancy, which offers bachelor's and master's degree programs in accountancy and taxation, and the School of Public Service, which has degrees in criminal justice, health care administration, public administration and social work.
