C.W. Post Women’s Lacrosse Star Featured in Sports Illustrated

C.W. Post women's lacrosse standout Shannon Fabian is featured in the July 24, 2006 edition of Sports Illustrated. She is listed in the magazine's "Faces in the Crowd" section. Fabian -- the 2006 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Attacker of the Year -- is cited for her record-breaking season in which she set the NCAA Division II single-season assists record (71).

Fabian, a Rocky Point, N.Y., native, was named the NYCAC and ECAC Player of the Year, and was also one of 12 finalists nationally for the Honda Division II Woman Athlete of the Year award.

She is a senior majoring in childhood education.
