C.W. Post to Host Free Financial Aid Planning Seminar for Families

Need help navigating the complex web of college planning? Not sure you know all you need to about the financial aid available to your family? Take a deep breath and bring your questions to a free seminar at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville.

Parents and families of high school students as well as transfer and graduate students are invited to attend a complimentary financial aid planning seminar on Saturday, January 13, from 9 a.m. to noon in Room 119 (the Engelke/Astoria Federal Savings Lecture Hall) in Humanities Hall. They can receive information about the financial aid process, admissions procedures, scholarships, paid professional internships, and a line-by-line review of the 2007-08 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). And, to help with the number-crunching, each participating family will receive a free calculator.

Parents and all students should bring a copy of their most recent federal tax return as well as their 2006 W-2 and 1099 statements. For reservations and details, call the C.W. Post Admissions Office at (516) 299-2900 by Monday, January 6, 2007.
