C.W. Post Offers Special Open House for Transfer Students
March 13, 2006 - Students considering transferring to the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville will have one-stop access to the information and services they need at C.W. Post’s Transfer Day on Friday, April 7, 2006.
Counselors and advisers will be on hand to explain how previously earned college credit from community colleges and four-year institutions can be applied to C.W. Post bachelor’s degrees. At the open house, students can receive on-the-spot admission decisions, as well as information on scholarships and financial aid. C.W. Post faculty will be available to discuss degree programs.
C.W. Post offers 108 bachelor’s degree programs and many accelerated 5-year bachelor’s/master’s degrees in accountancy, business, education, liberal arts and sciences, information and computer science, health professions and nursing, public service, and visual and performing arts. In January, the Campus also began offering a new 5-year accelerated B.S./M.B.A. in accountancy.
C.W. Post offers a variety of transfer scholarships to assist students and their parents in managing costs. These awards are open to students enrolling with 24 or more credits.
Prospective students should bring their transcripts and student financial aid reports.
