Former Executive Francis Bonsignore Named Dean
of C.W. Post College of Management

Held senior positions with Marsh & McLennan, Price Waterhouse & Booz Allen Hamilton

Brookville, N.Y. – Francis N. Bonsignore, a former executive at some of the top professional services firms in the world, has been appointed dean of the College of Management at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University, effective September 1.

An expert in the field of human resources and leadership development, Bonsignore most recently served as senior vice president of executive resources and development at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc., having previously been the parent company’s chief human resources officer.He also spent four years as a partner and national director of human resources with Price Waterhouse (today known as Pricewaterhouse Coopers), where he managed personnel policies for more than 12,000 employees in the United States at that time. He also was vice president of corporate personnel and a partner at the global management and technology consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton.

Bonsignore earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cornell University. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and a master of public administration degree from the Johnson Graduate School of Management.

He has served on numerous not-for-profit organization boards and advisory groups, as well as being active in Cornell alumni activities.

At the C.W. Post Campus, Bonsignore will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer of the College of Management, which comprises the Schools of Professional Accountancy, Business and Public Service.

Bonsignore’s wealth of experience working in partnership environments will help cultivate collaborative relationships with corporations, expand career opportunities for students, and recruit outstanding faculty and students. He also will play a key role in articulating the College’s vision, developing new sources of external funding and overseeing the College’s elite AACSB International accreditation.

“With his extensive corporate background and proven business acumen, I have every confidence that Francis Bonsignore will succeed in shepherding the College of Management to new levels,” said Dr. Jeffrey Kane, vice president for academic affairs for Long Island University.

Bonsignore is a resident of Scarsdale, New York.
