CEPS programs are designed to meet the changing professional and personal needs of its students. From intensive Supervisory Boot Camps to corporate on-site training programs, CEPS offers a world-class educational opportunity with flexible schedules. Day, evening and weekend classes are offered at the C.W. Post Campus, the Brentwood Campus of Long Island University and online.
“Going back to school in any capacity can be daunting,” says Cheryl Baldwin, the executive director of CEPS, “but our programs accommodate everyone -- from those trying to advance in their career to those who are pursuing intellectual interests.”
CEPS’s renowned Breakfast Series allows professionals to earn a certificate of completion for studies in project management, human resources and small business with morning sessions, allowing participants to complete their workday.
In response to a growth in the nonprofit sector, CEPS offers a Not-for-Profit Management Certificate Program designed for staff who need additional tools to advance their careers as well as individuals who want to enter the field. Classes focus on personnel management, legal and ethical issues and financial concerns, including how the Sarbanes Oxley Act affects nonprofits.
CEPS’ Institutes – Business, Financial Planning, Real Estate, Home Inspection Test Prep, Health & Public Services and Legal Studies – offer a range of choices. Those enrolled in the Personal Enrichment Institute can master art and antiques, photography and interior decorating.
From prominent speakers and authors to entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 executives, CEPS faculty members are practicing professionals who are at the top of their field.
