Online M.B.A. Class in Corporate Mergers
Now Available at C.W. Post

Students in the M.B.A. program at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University can register now for an online elective course, “Corporate Mergers and Restructuring Strategies.” The three-credit graduate course (FIN710) will be offered beginning September 5, 2007 and will be taught by Professor George Andreadis. It is open to students who have completed their core courses.

The aim of the course is to help students understand the decisional dynamics and valuation consequences of financial, business and organizational restructuring by corporate units. Students will be prepared to plan, evaluate and execute corporate restructuring activities.

During the course, students will engage in weekly discussions with the professor and fellow students and complete weekly assignments and a term project from any computer that has Internet access. This course is designed to give students the flexibility to participate any time of the day or night, at their convenience.
