Celebrated Actress Lynn Redgrave Teaches Master Class at C.W. Post
C.W. Post theatre, film and dance majors are taking advantage of extraordinary opportunities to learn from master performers this fall. Celebrated actress Lynn Redgrave – called a "star professor" by Newsday -- is presenting a seven-week master class during the Fall 2007 semester for acting students, while a top dancer from the Paul Taylor Dance Company is coaching students who are staging a licensed production from the company’s repertory. Both residencies are presented by Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, under the sponsorship of the Rose Tilles Fund for Arts Education. Past residencies have been presented by Yo-Yo Ma, Twyla Tharp, Bobby McFerrin, Tokyo String Quartet and members of the New York Philharmonic and the Pilobolus and Joffrey dance companies.
