George K. Andreadis Named Director of Graduate Programs for the College of Management at C.W. Post
Brookville, NY -- George K. Andreadis has been named to the newly created position of director of graduate programs for the College of Management at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. Andreadis has been the Master of Business Administration program director and will now be working with the chairs and directors from the College’s School of Professional Accountancy, School of Business and School of Public Service to broaden and strengthen recruitment and program development initiatives for the graduate programs.
Andreadis has been in higher education since 1982 and holds an M.B.A. in finance from C.W. Post and a B.S. in mathematics from York College (CUNY). He is also a member of the C.W. Post Chapter of the College of Management Alumni Board where he has been involved in fundraising activities. Andreadis has also held full-time teaching positions at both New York University as a clinical associate professor of finance and Yeshiva University as an instructor of finance.
Andreadis has also taught extensively as an adjunct at many universities around the New York region on both the graduate and undergraduate levels. In May 2007 Andreadis was the recipient of the C.W. Post Inaugural Adjunct Faculty Recognition Award in Finance. He has integrated and taught two fully online M.B.A. courses for the School of Business: "Money, Banking & Capital Markets" and "Corporate Mergers and Restructuring Strategies for the School of Business."
In addition to his professional career path Andreadis also is an FAA licensed private pilot and enjoys flying in his leisure time.
