Pulitzer Prize Winning Reporter Examines Relationship Between Women and Politics

Melinda Henneberger and Fr. Ted Brown, C.W. Post Catholic Chaplain

Melinda Henneberger, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and former reporter for The New York Times and New York Newsday, analyzed the fragile relationship between religion and politics, at a lecture on November 7, 2007. The title of her lecture was "In God We Trust???"

Henneberger is the author of "If They Only Listened to Us: What Women Voters Want Politicians to Hear" and currently writes for the Huffington Post. Her presentation was sponsored by a grant from Commonwealth Magazine, the C.W. Post Student Affairs-Faculty Partnership Initiative Committee (SAFPIC), the Multifaith Council, The Hutton House Lectures, Student Government Association and Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
