Local CA Executives Offer Career Advice for Business and Accountancy Majors

First impressions are important to prospective employers – and a good first impression starts with a sharp-looking suit and a typo-free resume, executives of Long Island-based global IT management software company CA told business students in a roundtable discussion at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008.

Christopher Falvey, director of HR Operations for CA, Frederick Piulson, CPA, Director Internal Audit - Financial and Operational Controls and Vidhi Doshi, an auditor at CA and recent graduate of the C.W. Post M.B.A. program, braved snow-slicked roads to meet with approximately 100 students in the Long Island Room at Winnick Student Center. Dr. Christie L. Comunale, Chair Business Program Strategic Management Committee, associate professor of accounting organized and moderated the event.
