Post Library Association to Host Annual Book Sale
A treasure trove of new, rare, special edition, first edition and fine-binding books are among the more than 11,000 items available for purchase at the annual Post Library Association book sale on the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville. Scheduled for March 26-29, 2008, this popular event is a haven for collectors as well as those who enjoy browsing among the books, books on tape, music tapes, records, CDs, video tapes and DVDs.
The donated materials include topics ranging from American studies, fiction, foreign languages, cooking, physical and biological sciences, computer science, government, political science, law, education, fine arts, self-help, reference, business, social sciences, religion, philosophy, women's studies and history.
Hours:
- Wednesday, March 26, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Open to PLA Members and LIU Cardholders only
- Thursday, March 27, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Open to the Public
- Friday, March 28, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Open to the Public
- Saturday, March 29, 8 a.m. - 2 p.m.: Open to the Public
