An exhibit celebrating the life and works of prominent "Latin American Women Writers and Poets," including Claribel Alegria, Isabel Allende, Julia Alvarez, Aurora Arias, Gioconda Belli, Julia de Burgos, Rosario Castellano, Sandra Cisneros, Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz,Clara Lair, Nicholasa Mohr, Nancy Morejon, Loida Maritza Perez, Salome Urena and Dolores Veintimilla. Also featured at "Latin Americans in Government," including Romana Acosta Banuelos, Denis Chavez, Henry Cisneros, Alberto Gonzalez, Antonia Coello Novello, Romualdo Pacheco, Federico Pena and William B. Richardson. This program is sponsored by the B. Davis Schwartz Memorial Library and the Foreign Language Department.
