C.W. Post Named One of Princeton Review’s
Best Business Schools for Third Year in a Row

Brookville, N.Y. -- Citing small class sizes and solid preparation in finance, management, teamwork and global business, The Princeton Review has recognized the College of Management at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University as one of the best places in the country to earn a Master of Business Administration degree. This is the third consecutive year C.W. Post has achieved his distinction.

The Princeton Review’s “Best 296 Business Schools,” which hit bookstores Oct. 7, 2008 rates C.W. Post among the best in the nation based on data collected during a three-year survey cycle.

“We select schools for this book based on our high regard for their academic programs and offerings, institutional data we collect from the schools, and the candid opinions of students attending them who rate and report on their campus experiences at the schools,” said Robert Franek, Princeton Review vice president of publishing. “We are pleased to recommend the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University to readers of our book and users of our web site as one of the best institutions they could attend to earn an MBA.”

“Best 296 Business Schools” includes two-page profiles of colleges, based on surveys of students and information provided by schools, about such things as academics, student life, admissions, selectivity and career placement services.

“Classes are not too large, which makes for a better learning environment,” said one student interviewed by Princeton Review. Professors are knowledgeable in their respective fields” and are “willing to help students” outside of class, other students said.

The New York-based education services company surveyed students who attended C.W. Post. The profile said respondents agreed on C.W. Post's friendly students and beautiful location.

The C.W. Post College of Management's business programs carry the elite accreditation of AACSB International, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. The college offers a 36- to 48-credit M.B.A. in business administration that can be completed on weekday evenings or Saturdays as well as a five-year accelerated B.S./M.B.A. in business administration program.

The College of Management also is home to the nation’s first School of Professional Accountancy, which offers bachelor’s and master’s degree programs in accountancy and taxation, and the School of Public Service, which has degrees in criminal justice, health care administration, public administration and social work.
