C.W. Post Campus Publications Alumni Return to Alma Mater

The C.W. Post Publications Alumni gathered on Saturday, January 24, 2009 to bring together former editors and staff of the Pioneer Newspaper, the Opticon, Loomings and other student campus publications.

Nearly twenty-five alumni, mostly graduates of the early-to-mid 1980’s, returned to campus to meet and speak with the current student Pioneer staff members in their newspaper headquarters. A dinner was held afterwards in the Great Hall, Winnick House where alumni were able reminisce and to reconnect with each other.

Among those in attendance were Michael Accardi, Scott Bergmann ’81, Franklin Coleman ’88, Cherylann Coutts ’85, Debbie DeLouise ’89, Michael Fleming ’82, Marcia Frost ’81, Donna Heiderstadt ’82, Catherine Hoffmann ’83 ’06, Lauren Kellachan ’83, Marianne McGee ’84, Robert McGee ’87, Stephen Medwid ’80, Shari Stark Morris ’82,’90, Scott Morris ’82, Darius Myers ’82, Robin Noble ’87, Mela Stevens ’84, Mark Swanson’84, ’88, Timothy Votapka ’85, Christopher Wales ’84 and Kevin Cornelius ’80. .
