Scholar of the Month (February)

Glendale, Queens resident William Hoefer, a graduate of Nassau Community College, is the recipient of the 2008-09 Transfer Scholars Award for $14,000 from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville. Hoefer is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology. Presenting the scholarship is Dr. Paul Forestell, provost of the C.W. Post Campus, and Dr. Katherine Hill-Miller, dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The C.W. Post Campus annually awards more than $110 million in financial aid.
