Men's Basketball Set Record with 24-0 Undefeated Regular Season

This is a year of firsts for the C.W. Post Men’s Basketball team, who just completed the regular season with an amazing record of 24-0. This is their first undefeated season. Senior guard Jonathan Schmidt set a C.W. Post record with 1,845 career points scored, surpassing the previous record of 1,835 set by Garee Bryant in 1999.

With Coach Tim Cluess at the helm, the Pioneers are ranked No. 2 in Division II basketball and are the first local college team to sail through an undefeated season since Adelphi in 2000-01. Their inspiring dedication has paid-off.

They will compete in the quarterfinals of the East Coast Conference Championships this Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 7 p.m. in the Pratt Recreation Center (vs. Molloy College). Please come and cheer on the home team!
