C.W. Post Celebrates Homecoming and Family Day Saturday, October 3 Festivities include amusement park rides, arts and crafts and barbecue buffet
Brookville, N.Y. - Spend a fun-filled autumn day at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville as the campus celebrates its annual Homecoming and Family Day on Saturday, October 3, 2009. The football game kicks off at 1 p.m. at Hickox Field with the C.W. Post Pioneers playing the Shippensburg University Red Raiders.
The Homecoming game is a conference game for the East Division of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
The Fall Festival, Tailgate Tent Party and barbecue, all held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature festivities for all ages, including amusement park rides, Ferris wheel, pumpkin painting, clowns and more.
The public is welcome to attend. Admission to the barbecue, which includes the football game and activities, is $16 for adults, $8 for children under 8 years of age, and free for children age 3 and under when purchased in advance. Tickets purchased at the door are $20 for adults, $10 for children under 8 years of age and free for children age 3 and under.
