Pamela Lennox, Ed.D. serves as Associate Provost for Campus Services at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville. She was appointed to this position in 1995 and is responsible for overseeing the offices of Professional Experience and Career Planning, Continuing Education and Professional Studies, Facilities Services, Dining Services and Conference Services, among others.

Dr. Lennox's extensive involvement with the Girl Scouts of Nassau County includes serving on its Board of Directors' Nominating Committee and the Long Range Planning Committee. She has been instrumental in creating collaborations between the Girl Scouts and C.W. Post and arranged for the girls to attend classes in computers, dance and nutrition in a college setting. Dr. Lennox also volunteered for the "Girl Scouts Where You Live" program and drove local girls to campus for basketball and volleyball games, tours of the TV studio and the radio station, and a workshop on career development. She serves as a National Operational Volunteer for Girl Scouts USA. In 2006, she was elected treasurer of the Girl Scouts of Nassua County.

Her extensive activities have not gone unnoticed. In June 1999, she was honored by the Junior League of Long Island at its 13th Annual Volunteer Merit Awards luncheon. In October 1999, she received the "Making a Difference for the Youth of Long Island" award from the Girl Scouts. In October 2002 she was honored with the "90 Women for 90 Years" award as part of the Girl Scout’s 90th anniversary celebration. In 2006, she won the Leadership in Education Award from ExecLeaders, a networking organization for Long Island business and community leaders.

A Brookville, NY resident, Dr. Lennox serves as Vice President for Administration for the Brookville Park Foundation (BPF) and is a member of its Welcome Committee. In her work for the BPF, she welcomes new residents and tends to flower beds on Route 107. She is a member of the Community Advisory Board for the Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union.

Dr. Lennox has also served as a faculty mentor in C.W. Post's popular College 101 course. This seven-week course addresses stress management, peer pressure, substance abuse and values clarification. Academic issues are also discussed, including time management, study skills, and choosing a major. She serves as an adjunct professor in C.W. Post's School of Education, where she has taught a variety of graduate courses in the Counseling and Development Department. She is a consultant to both the United States Department of Education and the New York State School-to-Career Project, and has served as a member of the evaluation team of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

A native Californian, Dr. Lennox was vice president of the Long Beach, California chapter of Phi Delta Kappa, a member of the Stanislaus County Literacy Network, and a charter member of Soroptimist, a community service organization for women.
