Free Seminar for Those Interested in Becoming
a Paralegal or Legal Nurse Consultant
Individuals interested in learning more about becoming a paralegal or
legal nurse consultant paralegal are invited to attend a career seminar
on Tuesday, May 18 at 7 p.m. in Tilles Center Room W-1 on the C.W. Post
Campus of Long Island University in Brookville.
Sponsored by the School of Continuing Studies, the seminar is free and
open to the public. Participants can meet practicing paralegals and legal
nurse consultants and talk with faculty about C.W. Post's program of study
and career opportunities. The seminar will focus on the responsibilities
of paralegals and legal nurse consultants, employment placement services,
and course content including computer/Lexis training. Information on financial
aid, admission requirements and personalized scheduling will also be available.
The Paralegal Studies Program at C.W. Post offers day and evening programs.
This summer, the day program will run from June 2 to August 31 and the
evening program will run from June 2 to December 22.
The legal nurse consultant paralegal studies program begins its fall
schedule on September 21 and runs to August 10, 2000. Classes are held
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9:30 p.m.
The C.W. Post Campus is located on Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) Brookville.
